I am an aspiring Sound Engineer who has studied at Forth Valley College and I have created several pieces of work that can be viewed in this portfolio that best show my level of work and my appreciation for the sound industry.

The artifacts, though my own work are made up of sound replacements and new mixes of songs mostly based upon original creations that I have had no part in. That said, some of these are all my own work. 

I am particularly interested in video games and the sounds that help make them so popular, especially the immersive states that good video games inspire. I am also interested in the sounds that we associate with certain objects and that some sounds can be created using unconventional methods as well as how we can take sounds and manipulate them so much so that they sound completely different and new.

I am always willing to learn more about the industry and the interesting things people are doing in this field with technology, what we feel when listening to music and sound in our day to day lives and especially the way we can use this to help improve communication and assist in social accessibility.

I am not afraid of seeking clarification of tasks and I am always punctual with submission of course work. I am careful with equipment that should be treated with respect and I keep my workstations clear and tidy. I am very friendly and outgoing with a good sense of humour. I am confident in my communication skills and I take pride in all aspects of my work. I am open-minded and receptive to others. Being inquisitive by nature I enjoy taking things apart to find out how they work as I am technically-minded.
