This week I got the final city ambiance placed into the Pro Tools session this consist of the water front sound as well as sound effects of waves and rocks falling in to the water. There were a few click sounds in the water front sound so I had to remove the section that those sounds were present in and fade the cut section so that the rest of the track still fit with in the soundscape pay close attention the level of the track so that it was not too loud or quiet and blended well with the rest of the sound for this.
I used the sounds of the waves to blend seamlessly with the sound of the wind that have been constant throughout the soundscape and be completely out of balanced throwing the whole mix off.
The sound of the rocks falling were used to build the scene of a possible future of the city ambiance where the water level has risen flooding the area I showed this by having the large creature beating it wings to stop becoming wet the rock was knocked loose form the creature landing on it perch.
I end the soundscape be having the large creature leaving the scene with the little bird leaving with it and the bird sound returned to the original level signifying that the passage of time is a circle rather than a straight line.
