week 7 and 8
This week is the second week back form Christmas and unfortunately, I did not get my filming done over the holiday so this week was for filming and editing and the first week back was filled with other submission for other classes and a class test so I had to deal with those first witch did not help that there was three different things due in the same week meaning that I did not get a chance to go out and film. On the Sunday of the first week I finished work at 2pm and the light and weather were optimal for me to go and film so I got my dad to drive me up there I filmed for about 20 minuets getting all of the footage I was going need however the slow-motion video did not come out as good as I wanted it to look so I decided then and there that I would scrap it and use the same white balance setting but the footage would be at normal speed. The audio from the camera was unusable form the wind likely I had my audio recorder what wind shield so I recorded the ambiance as well as a test for the narration that will you work off of to make it send the right message to the audiences. Once I had filmed it, I spent the rest of the week editing it together using Premier Pro as this it the software that I am most comfortable using. The main problem that I faced was getting the edited footage look how I wanted then to look. I also had a small panic attack when I got stressed out thinking I had done all this week’s work completely wrong but I got a meeting with my personal tutor and we discussed the problem areas and it turns out that I was not doing it completely wrong but only a few things were wrong and easily fixed.
