Listening to sound alone week 2

This week for my soundscape I went through Sound Snap and collected all the sound I need to get started. I needed to get sound for the ambiance around the focus creature this included mountain ambiances and wind to build the area up sound that the focus is located in. I also needed the sound of the creature; I have decided to use the sound of flames to signify the large creature moving into the scene. A problem that I encountered was that the sound I picked for the winged creature did not give the correct sense of scale to the listener so I decided to do some editing to it to make it sound very large with in the space. I collected sound for the old city ambiance which included a black smith, horses standing and a horse walking. The modern city sounds I used sound that I got from a field recording trip with the GSA where I got really nice city ambiances including traffic and construction. I also got nice water front sounds witch I used in the final future city ambiance, for this this section I also collected sound for waves, rocks and stones falling into water. I will use all these sounds to convey the passage of time.
